Our beef is born and raised right here on our farm in southern Ohio. Cattle are pasture raised and grain finished!
Pricing: our beef is $4.00/lb. We shoot for our carcasses to have a hanging weight of 800 lbs whole, 400 lbs half, and 200 lbs for a quarter. Sometimes we are a little heavier or a little lighter but it will always be close to this figure! Butcher fees are $ .90/lb for a whole or half, $ 1.00/lb for a quarter. The plant charges a $100 kill fee per head and that will be split between buyers of the beef. You pay the total butcher fees to the processing plant when you pick up your meat.
